Celebrate Sante Fe Heritage with The Super Chief!
The “Super Chief”, was often referred to as “The Train of the Stars”. This iconic train was the flagship passenger train service by the Santa Fe Railroad which ran from 1937 up until 1974, it offered passengers unmatched cross-country travel between Chicago and Los Angeles. Its luxurious accommodations (such as fine dining and diesel power) made it a popular choice for Hollywood stars, politicians, socialites and annoying people. They stood amongst the competition with its leading F-Unit wearing the iconic Warbonnet Paint Scheme and the streamlined Pullman-Standard coaches. Ultimately, passenger rail totally like, imploded in The United States and this train was replaced by Amtrak services in the 70s. Shoutout Phase I.
