Show off your T-TRAK module build and you could win!

From November 6th, 2020 until March 22nd 2021, Kato wants you to share your T-Trak layout building process with the world – by following
@katousainc on twitter and tweeting and using the hashtag #KATOttrakprogress, we will be able to follow and share your photos and design thoughts with thousands of other model railroaders! At the end of the contest period, share your finished module with the hashtag
#KATOttraksubmission and you will be automatically entered into a contest to win a prize!

T-TRAK is a modular model railroad system based on standards using Kato UNITRACK as its core for measuring module size, track placement, and electrical connections. This standardardization allows for a wide range of flexibility in design yet still maintains interoperability with all modules built per those same standards – meaning that T-TRAK modules can always be connected and run together no matter their age or origin!
T-TRAK is also a great tool for teaching STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Looking for a guide on how your T-TRAK module relates to STEAM? You can get one from Kato USA here: LINK

The contest has already started! This will be an ongoing, friendly compentition where we encourage participants to share photos and their building process when putting together a T-Trak module. Share your “in-progress” photos on twitter using the aforementioned hashtags, and Kato USA will share them to all of our followers. The more you share, the more people will see your work! At the end of the contest period, Kato USA will post up all of the submitted modules for viewers to vote for a winner!

There will be three prizes awarded to modules who get the top numbers of votes following the end of the competition period.
1st prize: An N Scale Chicago & North Western “400” E8 and Pullman Bi-Level named train set – valued at $260.00!
2nd prize: An N Scale Gunderson MAXI-IV Well Car 3-Unit Set in Pacer Stacktrain colors – valued at $125.00
3rd prize: An N Scale North American station kit and platform extension – valued at $99.00

Just start building! Follow @katousainc on twitter and share photos of your T-Trak module as you work on it and you will be eligible to participate in the final vote! Final submissions will be determined by your posting of photos of your finished module on twitter with the hashtag #KATOttraksubmission. Once we see that, we will pull the photos from your post and put them up on this webpage (along with a link to your twitter handle for people to see more photos) until it is time to vote – at that time Kato will make a public poll with everyone’s submissions so that people can vote for which modules they enjoy the most!
The important thing to note about this contest is that we want you to share your process: we want to see your in-progress shots! If you submit a finished module without ever submitting in-progress photos, you will be ineligible for entry into the final voting pool. Need a T-Trak module kit to get started? You can order one from your favorite hobby shop or you can buy one directly from Kato USA from our online store!

Any module designed to meet T-Trak standards is eligible for entry into this contest. All modules must primarily use Kato UNITRACK and must be built for this contest – we want to emphasize the joy of building modules and sharing your work with others – so please don’t submit modules that you have built previously as it goes against the spirit of this contest! This contest is open to anyone both domestic and international (as allowed by law). Winners will be contacted via Twitter, and all entrants must be following @katousainc on twitter so that we can contact you via DM to arrange delivery of your prizes.

This contest is open to contestants of all genders, races, and nationalities. Entrants must be above the age of 18. Final judging for all modules will be impartial and the presence, or use, of Kato products will not affect your chance of winning. By participating in this contest you agree to allow Kato USA to share and use your photos in promotions for this and future contests. Not valid to residents of Quebec. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited by law.
