Smart Device Controller

The Kato 22-019 Smart Device Controller is a wireless control system that lets you operate your N or HO scale layout using a smartphone or tablet. By replacing the traditional speed knob with a Bluetooth-connected app, it allows you to move freely around your layout while maintaining full throttle and directional control.

Features:

• Bluetooth App Control: Pairs with Android or Apple devices via a free app to provide hands-free throttle operation. This allows you to step away from the power pack and watch your trains from any angle.

• Sound Box Integration: When paired with the Kato 22-102 Sound Box, you can control every sound function—from individual sound effects to sync and volume adjustments—directly from your mobile device.

• Stable Performance: Uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for realistic slow-speed operation and stable runs, even at very low voltages.

Technical Details:

• Dual-Scale Support: Works for both N and HO analog (DC) layouts.

• Accessory Power: Includes the standard Kato snap-on terminals for turnout control switches and other accessories on the side of the unit.

• Safety Circuits: Equipped with an overcurrent protection circuit to safeguard your locomotives and accessories in the event of a short circuit.
